Here are some pictures of all the fantastic work Room 3 has been doing!
We have been on bug hunts, practicing our writing, creating with things that we have found around home, making our beautiful petals and flowers for our special friendship flower, learning about numbers and shapes and having fun!
Good morning Room 3, lots of great work yesterday with the special inventor scavenger hunt! Well done everyone, it was great seeing all your amazing creations.
Todays challenge is science, making a boat.
Today I want you to make a boat and see if it can float on the water.
Firstly draw what kind of boat you want, what shape will it be? will it be a big boat or a small boat?
What do you think you can make your boat out off?
-tin foil
-plastic
-bark/sticks
Have a think of things that will float on the water, maybe try some things and see what happens, does it float or sink?
When you have finished designing and building your boat then test it out on the water, remember to get an adult to help.
If your boat sinks, can you fix it and make it better?
Can you put some things in your boat?
What happens if you put too many things into your boat?
Remember to draw your boat first and show me your picture and then when you have finished making it.
Have fun!

Morena Room 3, I hope you all had a good weekend.
Todays challenge....an Inventor scavenger hunt
Today I want you to look around your home and see if you can find...
- find something that you can turn
-something that is bumpy
-something that is made from metal
-something you can put together
-3 things that are round
-something that you can twist
-something that is shiney
-find a tube
-something that is clear
-something that can bounce
-find 3 things that are squishy
-find one special thing from outside
When you have found all those things, I then want you to put them all together and see what you can create -
it could be a robot, a dinosaur, a building what ever you want!
I can't wait to see what you make.
