Good morning Room 3, lots of great work yesterday with the special inventor scavenger hunt! Well done everyone, it was great seeing all your amazing creations.

Todays challenge is science, making a boat.

Today I want you to make a boat and see if it can float on the water.
Firstly draw what kind of boat you want, what shape will it be? will it be a big boat or a small boat? What do you think you can make your boat out off? -tin foil -plastic -bark/sticks Have a think of things that will float on the water, maybe try some things and see what happens, does it float or sink? When you have finished designing and building your boat then test it out on the water, remember to get an adult to help. If your boat sinks, can you fix it and make it better? Can you put some things in your boat? What happens if you put too many things into your boat? Remember to draw your boat first and show me your picture and then when you have finished making it. Have fun!
